Dr. Julie Clark-Blount, Owner and Veterinarian

Meet Dr. Julie Clark-Blount! She is our proud owner and veterinarian. She graduated from Tuskegee University in 1998 and opened Laurel Oaks in 2006. She has 6 cats, 4 dogs, and a bird that can all be typically seen regularly at the hospital. Her favorite part of the job is getting to see our clients with their fur babies and working in surgery!

Dr. Zoe Nickel

Dr. Zoe Nickel, Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Zoe Nickel is the associate Veterinarian here at Laurel Oaks. She graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and has been with us since May 2024. She has 3 dogs, 2 cats, and an adorable baby boy! Her favorite part of the job is doing phlebotomy and soft tissue surgeries!

Meet Stephanie

Stephanie, Practice Manager

Meet Stephanie, our practice Manager. She has been with Laurel Oaks for 7 years and has been in veterinary medicine since she was 18. She has 1 adorable dog named Delilah and an energetic 7-year-old daughter. Her favorite part of the job is seeing the happy pups walk past the office door and when they run in to say hi!

Caroline

Caroline, Registered Veterinary Technician and Assistant Manager

Meet Caroline, our registered veterinary technician and assistant manager. She has been here for 19 years and has been in the field for 23. She has 3 pups, 1 cat, and a crazy ferret named Mr. Weasley. Her favorite part of the job is working in the lab, specifically hematology, and doing dental work!

Steven, Inventory Manager and IT Tech

Meet Steven, our inventory manager and IT tech. He has been with Laurel since 2018 and has 4 crazy dogs at home. His favorite part of the job is the coding and analytics he runs for us and working with the vendors and reps!

Julie, Lead Veterinary Assistant

Meet Julie, our Lead Veterinary Assistant! She has been with us for 7 years and is currently working towards her technician license. She has 3 dogs and 2 cats at home and enjoys phlebotomy and placing catheters.

Mallory, Lead Receptionist and Veterinary Assistant

Meet Mallory, our Lead Receptionist! She has been at Laurel Oaks for 6 years and been in the field for 17 years, primarily as a Veterinary Assistant. She has 2 cats, 2 dogs, and 3 wild children! Her favorite part of the job is training and having fun making our clients laugh.
